I actually like the effect the blinds had on the image. It breaks that blaring sunlight and adds some odd texture to the view. Also the light rays are a nice touch. I like it.

Looks like a nice window view, but the blinds don't really add here. The sun could look better too--if you use your highest aperature, on a digital camera you would have gotten a star effect; but I think your window view woud have looked great on a rainy day, or a foggy day, or early am with some interesting light through the trees but not the sun dead on. Also, a polarizer would eliminate the reflections (looks like a cup reflecting).

I love the flared light.. perhaps the blinds could use more contrast.

This meets the challenge in every way. I just don't think it's very interesting to look at.
