 With the adjustment of highlights and shadows plus a golden stucco wall layer, it almost looks like a painting!

Yeah, it does. A few more swirls in the sky and you'd have a modern day van gogh.

The sky really got that painted feel to it and I really like the rich gold tones.

yes judy it does almost look like a painting ... excellent orange tone .. it really conveys a sense of heat and a hot summer day .. its a brilliant rural photogaph .. :)
