In advanced editing, I think I'd darken the background quite a bit, but this is good under basic editing.

lol i think it looks pretty weathered to me. love the perspective and rusty decay that can be seen in this closeup.

Photo meets challange but the interest of the photo is short lived for me. Maybe a different perspective of the old railroad tracks would have captivated me to look at your style of photography longer.
