 Tired so sitting here layering texture over texture from my files to see what they looked like (natures patterns and an old glass window) Overlayed with Minimus in the resthome - taken today while he sat on the lap on an elderly resident.

This works incredibly well. I could imagine this as the front cover illustration of a novel, or on a greeting card.

Wonderful. I love the straight-on gaze and the framing with that vibrant red and the loving hands. Please say that you'll print this large so that it can be prominently displayed in the rest home. I think it would look fantastic.

i love your dramatic process and those vibrant colours .. when i think of a rest home i dont think of a look like this .. you've given the scene a wonderful lively quality .. love how minimus is looking straight at you and the way his eyes are the same colour/texture as the background .. i love the abstract quality .. excellent .. :).
