 This was one of many images I shot of a month old foal, at a barn in Connecticut, with his dam...It was so much fun watching his excitement and the unbridled joy in everything around him...He is a Warmblood foal to be used for dressage as an adult...I know my shutter speed seems fast but he had just been tearing around galloping: crop, levels, dodge a few areas, clone out some metal in background, usm

Ok, I'm going way out on a limb, but this looks like Simms processing. The composition is excellent, the use of the mother as a backdrop is ingenious, and the overall photo is fabulous. (not voting)

The partial horse behind the foal doesn't appeal to me. A great mother/child shot or the newborn struggling alone shot would have been great...but this mixed composition doesn't work IMO
