Taken through glass which was quite dirty and not as sharp as I would like owing to the fact that I had little time to do this before I was decended on by a group of school kids and the tiger dissappeared into the bushes These are such beautiful animals.
It was also a very bright sunny showery day so I had to tweak the contrast and the brightness

Potentially a very good picture. A little out of focus.

Focus is a little off...I am sure it was..difficult getting it there...lol

Nice composition and exposure. The face looks a little out of focus though.

Lovely tiger, great picture for this challenge. The focus is just a tiny bit off.

I would like to see better focus on the face. A very good shot of a powerful animal.

Beautiful tiger, nicely framed and photographed. I like the sense of detail and the excellent DOF.

A little fuzzy and washed out. I think the sun was working against you.
04/16/2004 03:16:02 PM
the focal point of the tiger doesn't seem to be on the head which is a shame

Blurry, was it taken through glass?
04/15/2004 06:03:04 PM
I like the intense look...just wish the focus were better

Sumatran Tigers are so beautiful and I like the captures of them walking towards the camera. In this case, it's not focused and you have some lighting issues. Seems a bit overexposed.

Nice photo! Definately screams strength. The look on the tigers face, with the ears back says ready to pounce. I think that the composition is perfect, but maybe a bit overexposed. Great job!

the face is not in focus. should be.
04/14/2004 03:33:52 PM
The eyes need to be in focus.
04/14/2004 01:24:46 PM
too bad there wasn't a little more action that would display strength
04/14/2004 12:13:34 PM
Slightly out of focus

I don't like very much the framing. May be you should concentrate on the head, even if it seems to be a bit blurry.

The material has great potential for an excellent shot, tigers have the contrasts and the aura for great images, unfortunatly from this point of view the image is lacking, but great idea, I hope this tiger was well fed before you took the picture :)

The focus seems to be onthe shoulder. IMO it would have been better if the focus were on the eyes.
04/14/2004 12:42:14 AM
Its a little bit out of focus :)

Beautiful, one flaw is the cutting off of the paw there, but im sure you know that. And i know how much of a pain it is to get animals like that so nothing i'd mark you down on, its a great shot.
