The fallen trees or large limbs form an impressive sculpture as well as a demonstration of the force of nature. I think the thin branches distract from the sculptural effect and weaken the picture.

Pretty busy photo. The green diagonal area is a nice touch. Flat lighting didn't help much, might have been better with afternoon long shadows.

given the lack of color, b&w might have brought out some more contrast and strengthened the photo. . .

Nice picture, Its technically very good and the composition is very good, But I feel it needs the socalled Wow factor, mabey the branch in front could be a bit sharper, good job :)
