An outtake from Sugar. Not enough sugar visible for that challenge but I am *thrilled* with the detail and sharpness I got! Also love the perspective, though as soon as he took to the air I moved away, FAST. These guys are not exactly friendly.
Had an extension tube on. Really having fun with those :-)
This better be worth a 5.5 or better or I'm getting bounced from the side challenge ==:-O
PP - converted from RAW, cropped, dodged wasp slightly, cloned out lens dirt, burnt bottom of left antenna so it didn't appear to merge with back leg, increased contrast, 2nd layer to reduce background noise (Gaussian blur, lightened, dodged wasp, merged at 30% transparency in multiply mode), added border, resized, sharpened with noise reduction. |
