I like the concept for the challenge - takes tremendous strength to quit. The fingers seem a little out of focus to me and I think it might have more impact if it were really sharp. I also think increasing the contrast in the photo by either using a different color in the background, or making it B&W might really increase the impact of the message.

Nice shot & great theme! I hope that reflects something that did or will happen.

This will need REAL strength. You will need to be a hero. Very good shot.
Very telling subject. Well illustrated.

Great idea and very good composition. The focus seems a little soft to me.

Nice idea and one that reminds us of the strength of willpower.

If your really quitting, good luck...

Great idea. Perhaps the image needs a little more sharpening for web viewing. Also, shooting with the white balance set to "tungsten" or "incandescent" will take out some of that salmon-colored cast evident in the white of the lablel.

For me, too literal and too over-lit...

Now thats a waste! Why dont you smoke them first! I think this picture could be a little sharper, mabey its the lightning, try too keep the light source closer to the subject could get stronger and beautiful shadows on the hand that way, the composition is good, good luck :)

Try natural daylight, it makes shoots much better in general, in the same way flashes ruin most of the shoots. Combining daylight with some artificial coloured light coming from opposite may also help.

I think you had problem with insuficient light, as the subject moves a blur a little the photo.

It is just what I should had tried, but the shoot was nice anyway!

Slightly out of focus, and I'm sure you could have done something more interesting with the lighting. Good idea though.
