 Mother helps her child to touch the nose of the dog of soldier in the metro station Пло́щадь Револю́ции in Moscow.
Touching the nose of the dog, the head of the chicken, the drumstick of the drummer, etc is considered to bring luck. Light is terrible, most tourist use flash. This is without flash. Original crop.

Wonderful station and the benches around the corner next to the track are classic. One exixt leads you to the Revolution Square itself, which apart from the Red Square basically is the centre of Moscow. You are close to the Red Square and Tverskaya Ulitsa. The other one leads to a quieter street with a nice church opposite the exit. From here you can walk past GUM to the Red Square.

In my mind this an awesome image if I hadnt been away at the time of the challenge would have given a 10.
I think it is not pretty, pretty enough for the dpc voters to ribbon but please keep shooting out of the box like this and dont try to imitate winners to get a ribbon you will only stifle your talent! keep up the good work.

Thanks for the comment, for clarification the bag says "Born" and not "Porn". :)

What a strange, perfect moment. Every silly detail seems to mean anything. The positions of mother and child are as eternal as the position of the statue. The boy's casual gesture registers as a mythic pose of aspiration or simply need. I'm awarding you my Posthumous Blue Ribbon.
