 Stepping Out Alone

Measuring 10cm long & 3.5cm wide this beautifully made miniature shoe is part of a 3 piece set including hand bag & hat, when this challenge came along I thought well it is not landscape.

Post. I am very disappointed that this photo received such a low vote, So it does not have beautiful eyes, or look like an insect, IMHO the quality of this photo far exceeds the position that it finished. The reflection was in the original and by reversing it with a gradient map created an effective point of vision.
I would appreciate some feedback, good or bad photographically.

I really like what you did with the edit! Definitely gives it some pizazz and class. And now that you tell me it's really tiny, I'd love to see it in context. It's definitely not a landscape, and you did indeed shoot it very well.

Love the shoe and general shot - not quite so sure of the reflection - but otherwise very good and great title.

I don't know what to say. I am sure you have done something here that is really cool (reversing black and white?), but somehow it just doesn't grab me and it is hard to put my finger on. Somehow the shoe itself seems to be "soft" on focus, but I don't think it is...ceramic shoe?
