I have seen this, it's so dear. It's little eye is closed. I just want to hug it. PP is real fine, the schmutz makes me think of pollen/dust in the air of late afternoon.

Superb lighting on that bird, and I like how the posture of the wing echoes the positioning of the barbed wire. I'm just supposing here, but I wonder how much more the bird would pop out at us if you masked out the texture as it appears on the bird's breast and head, or if the difference in coloring would just make it look odd.
