I pouted all week during this anti-landscape challenge! Haha! However, I love your entry here because your treatment and the dappled light creates a introspective closeup of what would appear to be a rare, prehistoric, and perhaps even a mythical creature. I'm certain he exists in some antique fairy tale...;-)

It's a female cardinal. Yeah I know it doesn't look like it but trust me it is. I seem to have a knack for finding beat up looking animals.

Very nice photo. This was one of the best I thought it would make top 10 or no less than 15th place. Sorry to beat you this time. Hopefully next time I beat you again LOL
