A hot cuppa in my favorite mug.

One regularly processed layer, one layer of the same photo processed with Redfield Fractalius. Combined in darken only mode. Processed the whole shebang with nik efex cross processing.

It's not a landscape - so here goes...

**********************************

From where I'm standing, it looks like an enhancement or emphasis on what is there already - nothing added. Also, this would mean that we can never ever use Redfield Fractalius, not even a little bit like here.

I just saw this in your portfolio and it's certainly a cool picture and the dq sucks. I think the dq is due to the glow that the fractalius gave around the cup. If you look at the rim right above the handle, it has some tiny "fingers" that weren't there in the original. This is just a guess, of course.

As far as using fractalius, it may be possible to use very subtlety to enhance what's already there, but not add anything.

Darn it Alicia, that sucks. Who would have thought the fractalius filter would get this dq'd? I am so sorry about that.

Very nice in your face image and I LOVED the processing that you did on it. You have created a wonderful 3d effect. Uber cool

Simple, but beautiful! Underrated, but a tough competition.

I like the colors here and there is almost a feeling of movement - interesting. Looks like it might work as a piece of artwork for the kitchen.

I do like how you presented the lighting with the theme of the mug. Nice job.

I really like the editing/effect above the cup - might have included even more of that to even more get the sense of the coffee steam. Nice shot.

I'd be very interested to know what you did to get the swirling light effect on the edge of the cup, for me it really adds impact to what is just a cup of tea / coffee, but you made it look good. Love the cup!
