I think you might have been better getting the hand a lot further in front of the background so you didn't get the shadow

:) -- crushing a plastic cup -- a feat even I could do... good humor, technically: could use a punchier light, nice dof, hair arm not that engaging (sorry to the model)

That looks like a mean arm, maybe a can would have worked better than a plastic cup. :) The ruffled hairs work well with the composition
