This whale is a life-size mural painted on the wall of the Moby Dick Restaurant out on The Wharf. If there aren't any cars around, you can sometimes catch a shot of some poor soul who looks like he/she is about to become the whale's next meal.

The overlays are two layers of a door with paint peeling on it and a vertical crack. I got the right angle by flipping one layer 90 degrees. I got some added texture by using a texture brush as an eraser. The final layer is a snippet of some brown seaweed.

Where in the world is Moby? The question has haunted generations of Captain Ahab's kinfolk. Great humor colors, timing and processing with overlays.

The picture, along with your title, is comical, and the overlays do add to the feeling of being in the murky depths of the sea.
