Perfect example on how to overprocess image. DPC requested the original during voting and comments stated about overPP. Problem here is the over sharpening of the front bowl. Also, I missed a spot in desaturation on the right bowl. I like it anyways. :)

always shoot in RAW, silly ;-)
I'd possibly rearrange the components of this pic a little. Perhaps lose the cup or move it back so it's more OOF and less distracting. Then move the two sugar bowls so they're level and side-by-side. The way it looks now, it almost looks as ifthe frontmost sugarbowl is from a different shot, (although that might be your PP) hence you've had it validated.
On the whole though, I like this. It's got a nice range of tones and colours and is well lit. |
