 this is my boy who i had to bribe with money to help with this shot,i thought it would highlite the poor children in the world who have nothing and are literaly left in the cold.
removed color as i wanted to try b&w.darkend slightly and added noise( i believe this is legal in basic editing)

An angle more to the side, showing more of the brick wall might be more effective, but nice take on the subject!

Back to comment: I realize that it doesn't have to be cold out to be left out in the cold. However, without the title this image does not convey the concept very strongly.
