 Trip in NY a week ago, amazes me how much snow can hang off a ledge like that wihtout falling. Just Got teh levels where I wanted them, It's my first submission tothe site, so be nice ;)

THe strength of the snow and the weakening of the gutter. Nice composition....lucky you still had this at this time of year, at least were I am at.

Good luck in the challenge, as I bet a lot of the world has no idea what an ice dam is. Contrast is strong here, but a little more DOF might make the gutter more interesting.
