 i suck at finding titles for my pictures so i'll just title all my photos in this album after the location they were taken at.

so yaremche is a village in the carpathian mountains in ukraine where still some of the traditonal "hutsuls" live. this lady was taking her cows on a walk just next to the train rails that are still in use, but the train only passes twice a day so she was on the safe side doing so.

unfortunately the focus on the close up is a little off which is because my 85 suddenly stopped autofocusing for about two days, i have no clue why and it's working just fine again, so i had to focus manually for these shots which is quite hard on f2...

What a lovely combination of shots. I know exactly what you mean about titles though, very hard to come up with something time after time. This is a timeless picture. Could be in the '50s or now. Great job

Very nice diptych. It's a shame the focus is slightly off on the portrait, but it still shows the woman's great face and expression. I think how you cropped it works well, revealing details of her dress and including the tracks in the frame.
