Thank you all. To answer, no foot inside and I cooked the egg just in case. I would have liked to put the egg on end but was limited w/ where I could do this and all of the smoke and mirrors :( Also, the composition wasn't working for me at the time. I know this is one of my better shots (but I see a lot more flaws in it - an artist is his own worse critic)
Thanks again! |

Clever, I would be scared the egg was going to explode and missile all over the camera. Strong image, for the right challenge. 9 |

I think you'd crush the egg this way. Nice shot, good contrast. I'd crop tighter on the left to show less of the shadowed area. Also rotate CCW 7 |

I like your idea, almost more of a funny photo. The black and white does well with your subject. I don't know about the dark area in the upper left corner, though. It's kind of drawing me away a bit. Overall, nice job! |

Is anybody in that shoe? If so, congratulations to the hen that laid the egg. This is a very good shot, whatever the dynamics. |

Wish the photo was straight... the edge of your surface is tilted badly. Shame, as the rest of the picture is good... great lighting and range of tones. |

Great Unique Concept. It would have been harder and better if you had done the egg end on since that is where it is the strongest, but it is still a great shot and it reaceived one of my highest grades for the contest. |
