looks all swoll up. lovely title, but now of course I will have to research turtle/tortoise, rigor/algor, and see if I don't get me some dandy mock soup.
it is the innocent abandon, the sweet colours ... |

I question whether his demise was intentional. Looks like a coded message on his underside (although the last number is a bit hard to read:
11 6
17 13
Hmmmm. The plot thickens. |

Didn't vote this challenge, but did do a quick look-through and stopped to view this one. Makes me sad. Wonder if he died a natural kinda death, since these guys live a very long time. They're rather distinguished creatures and this view shows that in death we're all laid bare - naked, if you will. A very somber picture; sad, but presented with class and reverence. |

I like it, and got the connection to "cold" immediately. Your puns are very amusing, and I like "C'est la vie" vs. "C'est le morte" in your comments. :)
My only suggestion on the picture itself would be to crop off some stuff on the right so the turtle's centered. I usually prefer subjects off-center, but here the centered bit would be the shell, with interesting parts poking off into other areas. |

I liked the title. Yeah, algor would have been lost on me lol. Thought it was such a sad moment captured. I figured it pertained to cold as in how a body feels when one has passed. That was my interpretation. |

Rivals my "Hot" entry for yuck factor. Good shot as far as roadkill (beachkill?) goes. |

Funny. Not sure it's the right challenge for this shot, but it's interesting nonetheless. |

Doesn't actually remind me of cold since he's on a beach. Stiff, yes, but not cold. Punny title, though. |

Don't know whether to laugh or cry. You sure he's not just topping up his tan? The tone of the photo doesn't suggest cold to me, but 8 for humour. |

very funny title...nice shot.....not sure if it meets the challenge. I realize that your body is supposed to 'go cold'...but the activity by bacteria and insects usually don't allow to low of a temperature...
HA...HA>..just kidding. 8 :) |
