I like the image although I would like to see a bit more detail in the fence--it looks less sharp and focused then the footprints in the foreground. I don't see how this meets the challenge, however. There isn't a sense of the unexpected or fortuitous. High marks for the photo as a whole.

a lower angle would have superimposed the fencing against the sky for more dramatic effect

Crop to obtain a panoramic image adds punch. The vast featureless sky dilutes the impact.

Nice seeing considering the location. Print seems a bit muddy - without any really white whites and black blacks. Composition is nice but doesn't need all that sky.

I wonder if a higher angle would have made the pic less horizontally biased...your title is cheeky but I'll let you get away with it...well done

I like it. Nice tones. Perhaps you could have taken the picture from a lower angle to make the fence more prominent against the horizon. Composition is fine and tecnically well executed.

I bet this image will be a love/hate for most. I personally love the simplicity of it. My minor suggestions: Overexpose more, and blow out the sky slightly in B&W to knock out those clouds and accentuate the differing contrasts of the sands. Lower the angle to bring more of the fence into the sky for greater contrast of white to dark. (7)
