 We went to the Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek, Michigan today. We had to pick up an elliptical machine there so we decided to make a day of it versus just a 4 hour straight round trip. One part of the Binder Park Zoo is called Wild Africa, which is where I captured a picture of this bird. It landed literally about 3 feet from me on a low branch. I quickly snapped many shots of it. Of course, a handful turned out.

You captured this quite well and I'm still not sure how you managed to get it to pose for you. The clarity and vivid colors make this jump off the screen.
