Reminds me of night vision goggles. The alone figure does seem to be contemplating something, absorbed in some deep thought, I'm curious what it is. |

I like how she is isolated and the group to her left is not paying any attention. She's deep in thought. Maybe morose. I like it. |

This is so deeply absorbing! The way the woman is rendered (relative to the men) makes her more clearly a witness rather than a participant. The guy with the visible elbow has a fish hooked and the rest are watching him play the fish. One of them (at least) has put aside his own fishing rod in order to watch (the reel of which is visible on the bench at extreme right). The bird under the bench is watching as well, probably with a growing anticipation of a chance at some choice scrap from the battle. I like it all, even the weird green/red hue. And the horizon is perfect! |

Very intriguing. Has an old time, faded photograph feel to it. I don't think funeral, except for a fish maybe. Kind of like a more modern Old Man and the Sea... A large fish was just landed, and the standersby are beginning to gather as the fisherman tells his story of hooks and fight. |

At first glance I thought it was a funeral ... I like photographing funerals!
This is cool. |

It's vaguely like looking through night vision goggles...full of mystery and intrigue. |

I feel like I'm looking through water and now you got me thinking "Little Mermaid" with that "Under the Sea" song playing over and over again in my head! :-)

Erie and surreal at the same time. The were all silhouetted at the edge of the ocean, wondering how, why..............
I really like the look of this and the mystery it portends. |

The colors and the stances of the subjects really hold my attention. There's somewhat of a sadness to the image, perhaps because of the stillness and the way that their heads are all bowed. I wonder what it is they're looking at. The blurred little bird to the right is a nice touch. |

Before I read a word, I immediatly thought "lensbaby." I love the halo around her and the two cans (?) and then the blur continues throughout. This is really different and I find it quite interesting. Don't fret - I rarely pay attention to the steps. To me that would ruin the creativity. I guess you can look at the history, but I usually forget to do that too. LOL |
