 Candid shot, the grounds are amazing.

Post challenge: I thought the grass was a nice contrasting element. Oh well, score be damned, I like the image alot.

The grass IS a nice contrasting element. Voters wanted it to be THE element, though. I like how the lens and angle combination give her impossibly long legs from ankle to knee. Love the bold black sky, too.

The lawn is the third most important subject here, after the girl and the building. It's a nice photo though. I think for this competition, a color rendition would work better. As it is, the lawn doesn't really stand out.

Powerful image. The lawn is perhaps not the main subject, but its role in the composition is essential enough.

I don't know if this photo is a good fit for for the "lawn" theme... but I like this shoot indeed. Powerful lines, very high contrast.
