 Last minute attempt at a long planned shot. Learned a lot and hope this doesn't fare too poorly.

Good one. I would have position the lemon in such a way to hide the print on it.

a classic shot of still life challenges... The execution lacks a bit though: the dividing line is not perfectly straight and it is not cutting the image symetrically.

The lighting here is a little lacking for me. It seems to have almost a yellow tint to it, but I suppose it could just be the colors of the actual subjects.

Interesting twist to the shot. Not a bad effort. You just need to polish it up a bit.

For starters don't light it from above or in the front that causes those reflections that are not appealling. Instead find a way to light it from the back, bounce the light if you have to, narrow the beam if you're getting some light spilling in the front and causing reflections.

What makes this concept in particular appealing is the clean lines that you normally see in these shots. Your line is not straight. That's harder to do if you have the paper running under the glass so you may want to not do that.

Lastly, it could use a better title. For example, something like "Limon" (fusion of the two) might have gotten you some extra points.
