This is a very fun shot. I love how everyone in the background is also taking a photo (of his back - or maybe of you). I wish the mike wasn't in such an awkward position, as it draws focus from your subject.

Sorry but a photo of a celeb (with numerous other cameras in the shot) is NOT serendipity. Now if he was at your doorstep with a box of chocolates... that would qualify.

Sorry, I don't see how it meets the challenge. The caption might provide context that you happened to be somewhere and he showed up, but if that's the challenge criterion, couldn't ANY picture meet the challenge?

The only thing tying this into 'serendipity' is the title, and I don't believe you that it was a surprise visit. :)

Did you honestly take this picture to fulfill the contest, or did you just look for a picture you already had and force it into a contest that's completely unrelated? I hope it's the latter, because I'd rather you be lazy than uncreative if you know what I mean. Push yourself, you have some great talent! Nice color, focus, and expression! :)

OH MY GOD!! How lucky you were. Truly serendipitous. I believe he would alwaysbe a great subject to capture. Great lighting. Like his expression. Very nice.
