 I left the subtle texture of the paper that surrounds the flower...I could have easily just blown it all out, but completely devoid backgrounds weird me out.

I have no idea how this will do.

For what its worth, I gave you a 9. This is a very graphic image and it seems to have a story. I really enjoyed it. Forget the score, this was very well seen and taken.

I love the simplicity of the image. I would have liked more or less detail in the surface that the flower is sitting on. The way it is it distracts me, because I can see it, yet not enough of it to gain anything from it.
