|This is my third submission, and I'm having so much fun!
I think this was a good idea, poorly executed. I wanted to catch the reflection of my coffee in the yolk of an egg, but the shape was too complicated to portray clearly, so I thought I'd try a sun shape instead, but I'm such a bad artist! I probably should have lit this artificially, because my light was disappearing fast, but I really wanted to use natural light to evoke feelings of morning sunlight.
Edits were: crop, adjust levels, adjust contrast, brightness, hues, saturation, USM and save for web.
Hangs head in shame... I know the crop was too tight, but I needed to crop out the mask I was using for the sun shape. I really should have submitted one of the other images I shot of the whole breakfast, but once I had the idea I just couldn't let it go, even though my results sucked eggs (so to speak).
Lesson learned: Don't get attached to an idea if the results aren't up to scratch. Oh well, on to the math challenge.
