There are too many mornings that this is exactly how I feel! Well this was a last minute idea, as usual, but I was really happy with how it turned out. Used a piece of posterboard as my backdrop which I've been doing for about a month now for my ebay stuff and been very happy with the results. This was also my first challenge with my new Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 so that was fun too. I love this lens and I'm excited about how it will improve my photographs and my ability to control my exposure. Hope it does well even though its not a mesmerizing sunrise like I feel that most of the entries will be...

oh come on! Actually smash it! There isnt even any movement. If you stuck it on a long shutter and just pretended it would have been much better.

Creative idea and good pic. A motion blur on the hands could have added drama.

Lol I had this exact idea!!!! Mine was to get one of those old-style alarm clocks with bells on the side and have the hammer smash it to bits, with the pic entitled "before the snooze button was invented"

congrats on a great idea :-)
