My first thought when I looked at this was how much you look like Britney Spears here.

You are getting a lot of mileage out of that fence lol. I'm going to go comment on the other one in a sec but I do think that the lighting is a bit more dramatic in the other one. This is still a pretty profile pic tho. |

Like the negative space that your 'looking into'. Good, simple background which doesn't distract : ) |

It's nice, but the harsh light doesn't really help. |

Very nice profile. Well done. I think a tighter crop would help accentuate your profile like in the sample pic you linked to. |

I like it it is very soft in a good way. Monica's stuff is great and you will surely get there. I think I would like to see this with a tighter crop like hers, see what you think. As far as focus, I put something in the place of me like a tripod or a piece of tape on the back drop, focus the camera and then put the camera on manual focus. I also use a smaller aperture when I can to correct any focus issues with greater depth of field.

i like it, the onl thing i dont really like the the harsh light, but as you said, you used fill flash and it tends to do that sometimes, you probably wanted a high key look as well, on that term, great job, the tones are quite nice, and teh soft expression is really good |
