 Once the sun starts to go down, the creepy crawlers come out around my house. The evening I shot this, there were no less than 20 spiders hanging around, waiting to catch dinner.

Creepy bug shots don't have the broad appeal to score highly. I still like this, however. Gave it a 6, BTW.

Technically it's a good capture. On my screen though, it looks like there was a lot of cloning and healing used, mostly on the right side of the image. I can see brighter spots and lines where there shouldnt be any. My monitor is calibrated so it picks up a lot of things.
Okay, now onto the scoring side. I have said this about 20 times already during this challenge and I will say it again here. The title of the challenge is "Evening". What does this have to do with Evening in your opinion because I don't get it. It doesnt look like Evening

A bit of cropping might help this image. The main subject is interesting enough so that it doesnt need the space to the right.

ewwwwwww, i'm itching from just seeing this! creepy crawlies!

Good DOF! Not sure if it meets challenge. 6, but would give it a 7 if it fit better. I like it!

Oh, cool. Nice take on the theme. (Could be breakfast though...) I'm curious how well this will do with everyone else, being a creepy bug shot.

this is a very good image. I think it would do better in another challenge.
