 Taken in my front yard just before a storm hit. Thankfully it didnt hurt my blooms to much! Lil saturation boost and crop and border thats about it.

the oncamera flash takes away form this

seems like on camera flash was used for this image. When I vote in a challenge, the Challenge Topic is what really sways my voting. So if I am going to be honest here, I have to tell you that this image doesnt really fit in the "Evening" category for me. The pink in the border really doesnt help the image in my opinion. The flash seems to have washed out some detail as well. Sorry if I sound harsh, I am just giving my honest opinion, like I would want someone else to do for me. Best of luck to you.

nice flowers. I would prefer to see them one at a time and with a much softer light.

Pretty flowers, but I think the direct light is a little harsh. Kind of flattens out the photo. Maybe side-lighting, or even back lighting would help.

Beautiful defination in the leaves and petals, good crisp colors!! Overall picture card perfect!

To be honest, A floral shot really has to be different to stand out to me. I want to like this, but I'm afraid it just does not stand out to me. It looks like there is also a bit of harsh lighting from flash.
