I love how the dog pops out of the picture. The blurred road gives a sense of movement, which makes the bright dog stand out even more for me. I think it's a thought provoking shot with the title you gave it. |

I must have thought the same thing as Blackbox. "Last walk" made me think this was Willie's final walk before death - a thought that gives me shudders because I love my dog so much. He's the Otter in OmanOtter. I can't even think of that day. It will devastate me. |

Now that I know the story behind the photo, I've decided I really like the photo - and Willie too! I just kinda got freaked out because, well, my dog is getting up in years. Anyway, it's a great photo and I love it's uniqueness. |

I agree with Melethia. If I had voted in this challenge, I would've scored this quite well (better than your final score!). The composition, with the dog walking towards the viewer, perfectly in line with the center line of the road, and the person half out of the picture really appeals to me. The image has extra impact because the dog is looking into the camera. Nice work! |

I didn't vote this challenge, but dang this would have scored very well with me. Awesome mood, lovely emphasis on the dog (as this is his shot) yet nice inclusion of the human the dog is taking for a walk with him. I do like him cut off, by the way - that works in this shot for me. The panning works well, and what really makes this for me is the darkish grayish evening light and tone. Oh, and that line. Really well composed. |

A lower angle would have suited this image better. |

I hope you mean - last walk of the evening. If so, I like it. If not, I hate it. Maybe that guy is holding a shotgun behind his back? It's a good photo but no, I don't like it now. It's just to weird for me. That dog looks like he knows something bad is going to happen. No, I don't like it one bit. Please tell me I'm wrong... |
