 Taken right out my front door. I overexposed this to get a soft light and to blow out the bg :)

I am sitting in my doorway, under the porch, the sun is setting behind me.

I think that I'd like to see just a little more contrast in your face here. Interesting experiment, though.

I've got mixed emotions about the misty lighting here, but it does create a mood. Good comp. The tones are a little red for my taste and I think you could probably increase the contrast & visibility with a little more d&b (but I tend to overdo that sort of thing anyway). Overall I do like it... ;-)

I like the effect you achieved with the overblown bg. Love the soft highlight on your shoulder. Very well done. Forgot to say, I would have preferred a tighter crop up top.

I think this is a nice effect. The pose and expression are lovely, but would have been a little too regular without the overexposure. And you've still maintained alot of detail and thus the integrity of the photo, I really like this!
