 Playing around with some lights while Lisa played the Wii. Set up two lights on shoot through umbrellas on her right so that the umbrellas were right on top of each other (to light the whole body). A third shoot through was to her left in the back corner. I told her to jump while she played, she did, and this is what I got. Shoot with a nikon D80 + 18-55mm kit lens.

Thank you all for the nice comments. This was not an intended photo shoot, just a bit of fun and practice. I agree that it needs to be cropped more, I'll fix that. This has been called in for review for some odd reason, but really was quite simply edited

This is really nice! For me, the crop is not quite right, but I love the stop-motion that you've acheived here, and your lighting is very nice.

This almost seems like it could be part of a new nintendo ad campaign.
If the moulding wasn't there, it'd be slightly better - but since it's a wii experience, it makes sense contextually.

Very good action shot, I think that it would have been great without the floor and the ceilling showing... cloned out or cropped at the bootom maybe?

Such a great capture of pure moment. If you only cropped of that baseboard and the floor. I can see that nothing could have been done about the top, but it's not as distracting as the baseboard. Would have been an automatic 10, but alas only 8. Sorry.

This is close to being in my top 3 - great capture, pose and light on her. I wish there wasn't a shadow on the wall and I wish the coving/skirting didn't catch my eye quite so much. I also wish the shot was tighter cropped. The guys commentating on the Olympic diving would be pleased with the pointed toes!
