David,

This is fantastic! It was a favorite of mine from the challenge. I really like the inclusion of the sunset behind your subject. It gives some great colors, and just the right contrast for your silhouette.

Nice work!

... and something about your title tells me you mean more by this photo than just "a barbed wire fence."

One of my top picks. good luck! The dark blue part of your sky is maybe a little overdone. The blue paint looks a little pixelated in spots. Might be a little too blue, and a lttle too uniform. Theres kind a hard horizontal transition under the barbed wire that distracts from your silouette. Nice work. 8

I see this splendid abstract as an image that can be taken many ways. You have done a superior interpretation of the Challenge. Good luck! 10

Simple but so effective! I wish I had thought of this as I have plenty of old barbed-wire. Nice!

Strong picture, great shape and color. Title could maybe have been "braking away" ?

I like the little touch of yellow and orange. Very nice shot, the only thing I don't like is the black border.

Concept was good but too much posterization for me.

Blue color is nice. Subject is forboding but effective. The area of strngest contrast is the pink cloud against the black border at the bottom. Therefore your eye is pulled to that spot. Don't think the black border adds anything.

Wonderful idea. Focus isn't sharp enough on the barbed wire for me.

Gorgeous, but the whole picture seems a bit too dark, and you could have increased the contrast on the wire a bit, to make it completely black. Otherwise: quite a shot! (9)

Love the simplicity and the shapes of the barbed wire. Great interpretation of challenge.
