OK, so it may not be exactly represent the science of math in many of your minds, but it can if you think about it. Alternate title "1+1=Death", but I suspect that will be a common title format. I enjoyed working with the lighting, first shoot with the flash on a stand, shooting through an umbrella. I could not get the glass well lit, but I'm happy with the color of the whiskey.
I cloned out a piece of plastic that I used to hold up the key. I cloned the skull back together. In addition, I processed the RAW file twice to pull color in the whiskey. BW conversion, selected the 3 objects then levels to the background to make an even black. Screen layer to brighten the key, multiply layer to darken the glass. curves, some dodge/burn, resize, USM. I don't think I left any steps out. I certainly hope I did not go to far with the cloning, no other way to hold up the key, and IMO did not change the overall image. |

| good idea. However, i put together from the title and the key that the glass was really a glass of alcohol. It looks kind of like a cologne bottle to me with the way the light hits it. Otherwise very good. You could bump the contrast up a bit more or use levels to have the skull look a bit less flat. |

| An interesting equition! I wish the glass was lit more - it feels a little too dark and unbalanced by the quite bright skull. Good attempt though. |
