Know this is staged but don't see any fear in the young man's eyes. Would like it a little lighter for my tastes.

Good theme: well thought out and well executed. The acting on the part of the models is good and convincing. The entire picture plane is filled with interesting elements and all support one another to tell the entire story. The dark background adds to the sinister story. Nice sharp image. 9 Journey

Is this greed or desperation? ;) Good idea for the shot. The starkness of the flash certainly plays well into the "caught in the act" mood of the picture.

Nice depiction. Wish the victim had a more frightened look in his eyes. Good color and sharpness.

Looks too fake.

Looks too stagged, should have gone out into a back alley, and did a wideangle shot of just dark figures in the pose, with some street lights as lighting, and a more silhouetted feel.

Well lit somewhat interesting shot but the kid just doesn't have the right emotional response...hire a better actor next time.

Statement is fine. Posed shot. Because it is posed, it must do something compositionally. It doesn't.

far too posed, the agression doesn't cut through like it should.. there is no trace of fear on the victims face.. average. 6

For this shot to work the models need to be convincing. Here the "mugger" looks a bit too much like a pantomime villain and the "victim" just looks slightly bored. Coming back to comment I've put my score up from my initial gut feeling, though, because the composition and concept are good.
