 Pre-Challenge:
With so much going on right now I'm finding it hard to get out and about to take photographs for the challenges. I'm glad the "Better Than Average Side Tourney" is currently running; thanks EstimatedEyes. Right now it would be so easy to skip a week but the B.T.A.S.T. gets me out to shoot.

I had several ideas but just couldn't get to them in time. I remembered this ODD spiral staircase that leads to a loft downtown so I decided to go with this shot. I like how noting in the picture is square except the door. The lines are interesting and the POV makes me see the stairs at funny angles.

I don't know how this shot will go over with the voters but I'm hoping for at least a 5.6+ (to stay in the tourney) and would love a 6.0+ so I can continue my streak of 6.0 scores. I currently have two, the most consecutive I have had is three.

Post-Challenge:
Thanks everyone for the comments. It scored high enough to move to the next round of the "Better Than Average Side Tourney". I was hoping for a six so I could keep my streak of 6+ scores going, even though it was not much of a streak but it would of tied my best (3 in a row).

pjangel in your comment you said you would like to see the color version after the challenge. Here it is. What do you think?

Good geometrics and I like the conversion to B&W. Would hate to carry cat litter all the way up, though.
