 overlay is pretty subtle, here, used mainly to put a spotlight on the bird

Wow. I'd have never known a overlay was used without reading your notes. At first I was thinking to myself that I've taken some shots similar to this, but never really fell in love with any of them. This photo is quite appealing and easy on the eyes - so simple really. Nice!

Such a sense of fragility, yet uplifting to see this tiny bird in song.

I love the title. Bird's mouth is open. He is surrounded by rhythms. Very nice pic.

Really lovely. The bird is beautifully highlighted by the subtle texture. The movement of the grasses in the foreground adds to the enchanting mood.
