This is something I've tried a few times but never managed to get an IreneM type shot. I do think this could do with a little rotation to get the splash vertical. Enjoy your macro and I'm looking forwards to more splashes from you Chris ;)

I like the position of the drop though I think a little more DOF would help with the overall appeal of the image.
