| Good concept but the ripples in this image lack depth and interest. Perhaps taking them at sunrise or sunset would add more to it and give it better contrast. Having a "unique" ripple (whatever that might mean) would also provide a focal point for the viewer. This type of capture, though simple in concept, is difficult to pull off. |

| Nice reflections. The stuff floating on the water is distracting. Black and white and/ or increased contrast might make it more powerful. I don't understand how it fits the challenge. |

| Sorry, I don't see how it meets the challenge. The caption might provide context that you happened to be somewhere and you got this shot, but if that's the challenge criterion, couldn't ANY picture meet the challenge? |

| my poor work monitor makes this just look a mess but I will give it the benefit of the doubt and assume there are ripples there. But is it serendipity? |

| I guess it's an interesting texture but in the end this just isn't a picture of anything. I would have rated it higher if it was just texture and didn't have those few bits of stuff floating in it or if at least the water had a better hue. |
