 I feel pretty lucky to have caught this shot. These geese kept fighting with one another and actually would dunk each other in the water. Pretty wild.

I don't care if it doesn't meet the challenge to some of you. I think I understand it, if not who really cares.

This was taken with a 70-200mm lens. I was pretty pleased with the results.

The photographer caught the geese in the act of 'goose stepping' so to speak so this photo works on a thematic level. Unfortunately, there is too much lack of contrast between the subject and the background to make this work as more than a humorous snapshot. That can't be entirely blamed on the photographer since they had to work with the limitations of the surroundings but the geese just aren't sharply focused enough.

in shots with alot of foliage in the background, i get very distracted. might be nice to see tighter framing or a shallower depth of field to blur out the dried brush/sticks. i like the lighting on the wings :)

Delightful sense of whimsy. I wish I could see the faces of the geese but the detail and shadow on the wings is quite nice as well. The candid catch of this feels like it meets the challenge of serendipity.

if the name of the challenge wasn't "serendipity", this would be one of my favorites so far. i love the colors. just a little oversharpened.

Sorry, I don't see how it meets the challenge. Maybe you happened to be somewhere and you got this shot, but if that's the challenge criterion, couldn't ANY picture meet the challenge?
