 My parents has some long dried grass (or something similar) in a large vase at their house which I've used before as great fodder for the large aperture 50mm 1.8. I was lucky this challenge came up when it did actually as I was only visiting for a couple of weeks. It took a few attempts to get the light right but in the end minimal editing was needed - just a conversion in channel mixer, curves, layers, smart sharpen and a final USM.
