Great capture of the texture. Nicely exposed, the tones and contrast look very good. As for cropping, perhaps a little to get rid of the little triangle space off of the bottom left corner. (no vote)

I like this picture but I'm not sure that it's abstract. Whether it fits this contest I don't know...what I do know is that I like it.
