 This is a macro shot of part of the cape worn by my 7" Jareth the Goblin King figurine.

Brightness and contrast adjusted using levels, applied Neatimage, resized and then used unsharp mask. I set my camera to black and white before taking the shot, I prefer it to desaturating.

This is certainly abstract and B&W so it met the challenge description. To create a stronger image, you may want to soften the light a bit to get rid of the shadows and reflections. Also, if you were to come in a lot closer and just use a small portion of the cape that may make it even more abstract. But considering it's a 7" Jareth the Goblin King (?) cape, you may be at your camera's limits.

hmm, now i haven't a clue what this is,,, but i like the contrast of the tones against the white.. nice focus
