sunrise at evergreen lake. in addition to elk and ducks, there were also geese, deer, coyotes, a wild turkey, an owl and various other birds hanging around on this busy morning! although ,i must admit, it is tough to drive through evergreen in the morning without running across some sort of wildlife milling around town!

Very nice, I would have cropped some of the dark area down

Nice flowing horizontals. Maybe could've cleaned up the background so that it was a solid black (I find the barely distinguishable trees a bit distracting)

Nice shot, maybe a landscape crop with less of the upper portion?

Very cool that the duck and deer almost line up - almost like a breakfast bell was rung and they are heading to eat :-)

Oh pretty!!! I think I would prefer a large portion of the top cropped off though. I love a square crop but I think the rule of thirds might apply better with a crop. Needless to say, I love the misty scene and the composition of the duck and deer. 7

Wow! Love it! How did you get them both to pose in such perfect spots?

Seriously, the obvious motion of the deer in the background gives a sense of motion to the duck in the foreground, making the entire image very dynamic and a bit surreal. Very well done!

Beautiful. It's too bad the trees don't stand out more but fantastic shot non-the-less.
