Nice idea!
I think it might have been much more powerful had the shot been taken at a slightly different angle so that the stairs were more obviously stairs, it could almost be a ramp at the angle it is now.

| makes the point - might have saturated the colors and more contrast - a little flat; also rule of thirds might help |

| Interesting idea, I think the effect would have been much more dramatic if you had used a fisheye lens. |
